Carnival
"Good morning m'dear" Peter greeted with an odd smile, it was not like any of his other smiles, this one was special, he actually meant it, but still had to force it. "Morning, Petey" Hope and Peter stared at each others souls, carefully examining every realm of darkness in each others hearts, they both blinked at the same time, and as if they were robots, programmed to proceed in the same exact manner, turned south and walked beside eachother, as if heading towards a war. After a few minutes, Peter uttered a few words "I'm glad you came, I was starting to get worried," hope turned her head slightly, looked at Peter from the corner of her right eye, she had a small grin, her face looked worried. "I had to, I needed to see you," she continued to look ahead, they walked silently ahead. There was nothing particularly interesting about their path. The enormous trees, boulders the size of school buses, lizards about the size of an average vehicle (in human perspective), a small elephant crossed the dirt path they walked, Peter nearly crushed it. They took long, slow breaths, the air was thick. Peter broke the silence, "Do you understand?" Hope didn't look at him this time, her face was a deep natural color, her profile was perfect, she did not take her her eyes off the path, she continued to stare blankly, "I do, Peter, I understand completely," the response was satisfying, Peter's steps were lighter, a weight had been lifted from his shoulders. The dirt path consisted of several curves, they could not see more then a few menaparoles (a dagonian measurement) ahead. The atmosphere was neither warm, nor cold, bliss floated through the red sky, the purple moon cast it's calming rays upon their naked bodies. together, in perfect harmony, they shouted a phrase, "United we have become, not even canaberaly can separate us now!"
