Dinner
Driving around town helps Peter think. While he's blasting his music, he's thinking about death, destruction, anger, peace, harmony, mediocre jobs and tapioca. As he gets home he sees a rat at his door "hey, rat! What are you doing?" The rat stares at him and says nothing... "Want to come inside?" He opens the door and the rat hurriedly jumps in through the door. Peter picks up the rodent and placed him on the table. As the rat turns to eat an old cracker that was laying on the countertop, Peter cuts up some cheese and shares it with his new friend. The rat finds peace with Peter. "What's your name, little one?" The rat only stared, he didn't know what this stranger wanted with him... Peter grabbed him by the tail and the smelly little rodent hung calmly with its feet dangling, lookin around at this new upside down world. As Peter set him down onto his blood stained carpet, the rat found warmth, comfort, it was pleasing! Then, within an instant, a rough, grimy hand with six fingers and sharp claws came out from underneath the carpet and grabbed the rat from behind, squeezing it tight until all the claws had dug in deeply into the rodents body, gushing and squirting blood. The hand dragged its meal back under. Peter grinned with pleasure "Bon appetite"
