Expecting

It was late, Peter was expecting them by now! He sat impatiently on his 3 person couch, watching the second hand, tick..tick..tick..tick..tick. He looked up and looked back down at the watch, hoping it could make time go by faster, on the contrary, it seemed the hand had moved backwards. "Why is it that when you want time to go by fast, it goes slower the usual?" Peter was fascinated by this. It had been months since he had seen them, yet it only felt like yesterday, and now that it had only been a day since he was expecting their arrival, it felt like years. He was dying of excitement! *diiiiinnng donnngggg* he jumped up and ran to the door, he nearly tripped on his own feet.
